Citizens of Ukraine Protest Against Dictatorship

After months of unrest and protesting in Ukraine, Oleksander Turchynov (Parliament Spokesman) has given the government a deadline to form a new unity government. Over the past 3 days, 77 people have been killed and more wounded and shot but president Yanukovych is nowhere to be seen. An official election is being hosted on the 25th of May and people insist that Yanukovych should be removed from power. Many say that he has run away to the north-east of Ukraine.

Protests started when Yanukogych signed a deal with Russia for a bailout of 15 billion dollars. Most people wanted him to sign a deal with the Europeans but since he was pressured by Kremlin, he couldn't deny the deal with Russians. Many people took protesting and for months people have been killed and wounded for this.

Russians Cheating?

Last week, the final Figure Skating competition was taken in Sochi, and the Russian girl - Adelina Sotnikova has won the gold medal, Yuna Kim from Korea won silver and Carolina Kostner from Italy has won the bronze. But people wonder if this should have been the right decision. Comparing the performances, most of the people agreed that Yuna Kim performed much better. Sotnikova made a mistake while doing her triple axel when Yuna didn't make any. For real, it turned out that one of the judges was the previous coach of Sotnikova's. Some of the coaches were also related to Russia. Compare both of their performances. Who do you think deserves to win?

Facebook Acquired WhatsApp For a Huge Price

Recently, Facebook bought the biggest mobile messaging service in the world for 19 billion dollars. WhatsApp, which has approximately 450 million users, has over 18 billion messages passed per day, which will be more than ever SMS sent daily in the world. Last week on Saturday, people started noticing problems with the app for 3 hours. The creators of WhatsApp had gained a crapload of money. The main logical reason why Facebook bought WhatsApp was because they wanted to shutdown WhatsApp so people would use Facebook's messaging service more (I think!).
