What I Miss about Korea.
Hello, My name is Chanwoo and I'm going to tell why I miss Korea and introduce Korean food.
I have many reason why I miss korea.
When I was 14 years old I was in Yangchung middle school.
My Korean friends know Yangchung middle school because I talk a lot about Yangchung. I have a lot of funny and good memories about Yangchung
In Yangchung teachers can hit students because Yangchung is a private school and Yangchung was built 104 years ago so Yangchung has a traditional way to teach students in school. My Korean teacher Ha Young Woo teacher is good at LOL so he often talked about LOL so we can focus easily and my SOSE teacher Le Jae Ta didn't use textbooks because he always used videos.

News' Roundup (Reposted)
Citizens of Ukraine Protest Against Dictatorship
After months of unrest and protesting in Ukraine, Oleksander Turchynov (Parliament Spokesman) has given the government a deadline to form a new unity government. Over the past 3 days, 77 people have been killed and more wounded and shot but president Yanukovych is nowhere to be seen. An official election is being hosted on the 25th of May and people insist that Yanukovych should be removed from power. Many say that he has run away to the north-east of Ukraine.

Protests started when Yanukogych signed a deal with Russia for a bailout of 15 billion dollars. Most people wanted him to sign a deal with the Europeans but since he was pressured by Kremlin, he couldn't deny the deal with Russians. Many people took protesting and for months people have been killed and wounded for this.

The Vision of America
My dream of being able to live and study in America is nearly coming true. If you didn't already know, I am studying abroad in America for the next academic year, leaving my friends, leaving my family and leaving SIS. This is a major change in my life, maybe it could be the biggest culture shock I will ever experience in my life. However, the idea of studying in a different country and the idea of escaping the daily life in Hanoi beats all of the other negative possibilities I may face when I arrive. I expect a lot from the United States from all the stories I've heard, from the pictures and movies I've seen, America seems 'THE' place to spend your live in. I hope it will be the opposite to Vietnam - with beautiful nature, better traffic, better service, better food and so much more!
